Why do I blog?

Words are the window to the soul, at least for me. Over time, many  people have suggested I write a book about the insane life I live. To me, it is just life, but to others it seems to be a form of therapy or levity…whichever you prefer to deem it.

Life is hard, Guys! It is not easy and never will be if it is worth living, and it is most definitely is worth it in the long run.

I believe we all have our own brilliance to share with the world that helps us live amazing lives, one day at a time. The key is the last part…living it one day at a time. Planning is good, but you can’t be so focused on the future that you forget to live the day you are in. Somehow, I have begun to learn that.

This blog began as a way to share my poetry; it was a decision made on a whim… or so it seemed that day. My poems are how I release emotions I am struggling to process. Because, let’s face it, emotions suck just as often as we enjoy having them. Good and bad emotions can be overwhelming at times and pushing through them to the other side can bring peace and new life, even if it feels like it is bringing death in the process.

As I began to share my poems, I realized this might help me, and others, work through the hard days in life. We are not alone is life, even if it feels like it in the moment. Someone has been down your road before. Join me on my journey through life or watch me live it. The choice is yours, but I guarantee the first choice is the better one.

I hope this blog speaks to you because the entries and the poems are written from my heart. Click the Blog link to read them.
